Volunteer Opportunities
| Center Volunteer Opportunities The Center's continued success is directly related to our hard-working and dedicated corps of volunteers. Currently, there are a variety of volunteer opportunities at the Center, they include: - Front desk greeter and receptionist
- Delivering Meals on Wheels to homebound seniors in Kirkland
- Assist preparing hot lunch
- Dish Washer for noon meal
- Coffee bar host/hostess
- Slide show presenter, share your travels

| | Calling all Cooks & Chefs We need you! | Volunteers who like to cook or retired chefs with volunteerism in mind for one day a week, or two times per month, between 10am -1pm. The Kirkland Community Senior Center is a congregate meal sight serving 20 - 60 meals Mon-Fri (except Holidays). Duties include preparing the meal, helping serve and assisting others with table setting and clean up. Daily lunch shifts include two to three volunteers and a dishwasher. Food Handler's Permit is required, paid by the King County Nutrition Program. For information call (425) 587-3360. RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program)
RSVP is part of Senior Corps, a network of national service programs that provides people aged 55 and over the opportunity to apply their life experience to meeting community needs. RSVP volunteers serve in a diverse range of organizations.
