Below is a timeline outlining the Plaza of Champions program milestones:
- Call for nominations
The City of Kirkland Parks and Community Services Department has launched an outreach campaign to solicit nominations for the 2008 Plaza of Champions award.
- May 2008 - Deadline for nominations
Applications must be completed and received by 5:00 p.m. in order to be considered by the review panel.
- July 2008 – Recommendations to City Council
- August 2008 - Award Recipient Notification
- September 2008 – Plaza of Champions induction ceremony
