Residents will learn more about City activities, when and where they will occur, and gain a basic understanding of what they are about. They will be notified of breaking news items such as traffic revisions and public safety updates. Currently Kirkland also provides information regarding the status of ongoing City programs and development activity.

Yard Talk is the new natural gardening show produced by King County Television that teaches viewers how to easily care for their yards and gardens in a way that's good for people, pets and the environment.

Yard Talk is hosted by Doug Rice and Greg Rabourn, resident gardening gurus of the King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks.
