Join the Kirkland Team–Volunteer!
Join the City of Kirkland team by volunteering your talent and time to support City programs, projects and events. Volunteering is an opportunity to learn about Kirkland’s diverse community, understand how local government works and connect with other community members.
The City offers on-going and one-time event volunteer opportunities. If you are interested in an on-going volunteer position, please complete the
On-going Volunteer Application. To find a one-time volunteer opportunity look for the "Apply Here" links on our
Volunteer Opportunities page.

Please note:
- All on-going opportunities require you to pass a criminal history check.
- All Police department opportunities require a lengthy background check and a six-month commitment.
- Youth under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a volunteer agreement.
